I just want to make my parents proud, that's all.

In lieu of Hari Raya

I rather die than hoping.

I'm freaking broke and I got lots to buy for Hari Raya.
I'm not asking my parents for money because I'm not a spoilt brat like most kids today.
I only asked during desperate times like now.

Here's what I'm buying for Hari Raya.

My gorgeous gray contact lenses ($30)
A new bloody watch to replace the one my brother stole ($10)
Maybe a pair of handsome slippers ($15 - $20)
And unnecessary stuffs that I've yet to make my mind up ($5 - $10)

It's not that many, isn't it?
But the prices are burning a rather impressive hole in my underwear.
Currently, I'm stucked with a saddening amount of $15.

Anytoot, today's class capacity was pathetic.
Half the class was absent, leaving a mere 17 people (before recess)
After recess, two left due to half-day and it brought the total number of students to 15.
For the whole day, we did nothing but play, play & more plays.
I knew it. I had a feeling that I shouldn't have come to school.

I went Yishun Library after school.
I borrowed two incredible books from the No. 1 Bestselling author, Sue Townsend.
Number 10 and The Adrian Mole series: The Wilderness Years.
I'm addicted to the style that Sue Townsend had potrayed in her books.
And also the use of explicit words, mind you.

By the way,
HAPPY DEEPAVALI
(Purple is so sexy)
To all my Hindu and Sikh compatriots.
May the fire won't catch fire on your sarees.

I shall now pass my time with a cup of tea and good book to read.
Sayonara, amigos.
