Hope

Hope's the best word for everything.
And from me to you, I hope you are satisfied.

I came and saw.
A hundred faces in fear and anticipation.
Some broke cold sweat while others smile.
But I know deep inside, they had one goal.
To get a passing grade for their results.

30 minutes later, it's a whole different scenario.
In the middle, they were hugging with tears of joy.
In the corners, they wept tears of regret and fear.
The contrast was clear, happy and sad.
But one thing's for sure, they had got their results back.

I was sad, happy and confused at the same time.
Consoling the sad.
Celebrating the joy.
And from this, I was caught in the middle.
I was thinking, actually thinking.
Of how my turn would be like in a year's time.

For those who passed, I wish you the best in life.
For those who nearly made it, I feel the sorrow in you.
But never, never give up.
Cause hope will always be there.
To be your guiding light to lead you there.

Learn from mistakes, never bring up the past.
Look ahead, hope for a better future.
HE knows, the one who holds our destiny.
HE's there forever if you ever need someone to turn to.

I learnt something valuable that day.
And it's not something that I would want to share with you.
It's only a matter of time.
It's only a matter of time.

Everyone be amused now.
