My horoscope: Today, if you are feeling stressed, turn to your imagination for a lifeline. Just close your eyes, take a deep breath and pretend that you are a leaf drifting along a quiet, lazy stream on a sunny day. Relax and just go with the flow -- don't worry about where you end up. Part of the stress you are feeling is caused by a need to control too much. But you can't know everything all the time. Trust the people around you more and give some of your control to them.

I was in the bus, back from Ruzzie's chalet and I was reflecting about life in 2009. I am pretty sure that life will be much more hectic for me as I have all my majors (major competitions and major examination) during that particular year. So, I was thinking to myself, what if I cannot handle everything at one go? What if I get myself involved in too much stuff that at the end of the day, I fail at almost everything? Oh gosh, I fear for the worst to come.

I know I wouldn't be able to spend time with my loved ones. I'll be too busy studying or being involved in my CCAs. The only question in my mind is would I still be the same Syahrul that you know now or would Syahrul change for the better or worst? I figured that Change is inevitable. Everyone is changing but it's up to them to control their limits. I dare say that I've changed so much so that sometimes I yearn for my old self - the timid and shy one. Believe me or not, you'll be surprised at how alien I was from everyone back then. However, I still feel that I have a teeny weeny bit of that old Syahrul stuck in me sometimes, usually when being around lots of people. I'm a sucker for social gatherings, really.

Okay digressing too much. Anyway, I know I have to learn to pace myself for the year to come. Taking 4H2s with the most weirdest subject combination ain't doing me any good either. On the other hand, with the best classmates that I have with me, I am sure that I won't regret my two years in junior college.

I'll just have to give in to fate, pray to Allah for He will determine my path of Life. As long as I keep looking forward, I am on my way to success, that I believe. I thank Allah for the miracle He gave to me - R - because without this person, I would have given up my life. Syg, let's make this forever :)

Allah is watching me and you :)
