My female cat, Jane, gave birth to three beautiful kittens on the 16th January 2009, Friday evening. Little did we know, she gave birth to a fourth one three/four hours later. This little one, we gave it a name - Precious. 'Precious' because he/she was deformed due to the period of time he/she was inside the womb, waiting to come out. Precious was a cute kitten. Although Precious wasn't as active as his/her other siblings, Precious was the one that made our hearts melt. Precious was in a very weak condition. Precious couldn't stand or walk properly and Precious couldn't mew like her other siblings. It pains my heart to see Precious in such a pitiful state.

On the 18th January 2009, Precious passed away silently. I got to know when I came back home from my religious class. Although I had spent only two days with Precious, she lived up to his/her name. Precious will always be the precious little gem in my heart. And I promise you, Precious, I'll take care of your parents and siblings - Onyx, Topaz and Crystal. Give them the love I never had the chance to give to you. Rest in peace, love :)
